The Asian Society of International Law is delighted to announce that the Society’s President, Judge OWADA Hisashi, was elected by his peers as President of the International Court of Justice for a term of 3 years on 6 February 2009. We congratulate His Excellency Judge OWADA on being conferred this great honour and wish him all success in his new position.
